PAYOUTS NOW $150!!!
Welcome to "Brilliance 'N Broadway" where we are creating the next generation of young artists through education, theater, and fun! OH and did we mention... affordable?!
With some familiar faces in the Bay Area, Director Isaiah Mateas is excited to bring back fun and infuse theater education into the traditional "Summer Camp" model. We aren't a form of summer babysitting; we are educating and fostering the next wave of young artists. Tuition is DUE April __ BEFORE Auditions are accepted
WHERE: Rehearsal studio in Brentwood, CA TBD; 2/3 performances
WHEN:
AUDITIONS: Via online BY April 11th--Sent after paid tuition
CALLBACK DAY: April 13th
CAMP- June __ - June __ 2025; 8AM-3PM
TECH DAYS:
PERFORMANCES:
WHO: High School Students (including 2025/26 entering freshman and 2025 Seniors) 13-17 years old.
With teaching artists from respective fields of theater, dance, and music, your young artist will be provided theatrical fundamentals that will give them that extra edge in the performing world. We steer away from "just" creating a musical; we want your child to leave a full blown thespie!
Beginning with this cohort, our Senior students will receive personalized guidance as they prepare for the college audition season. We know what it's like to feel alone in that process, so we want to give assurance that our older artists will be gently handed off into the professional world. After the production, Seniors have the ability to recieve one-on-one lessons at a reduced rate from our teaching artists.
We know what an affordable youth arts program means to our community, that's why we implemented the "Volunteer Credits" program for parents. By volunteering for our Parent company, Bingo to Brilliance, parents of students are able to volunteer for credits (3) that can be turned into a FULL Tuition-refund upon completion. Deposit programs are available on a case-by-case basis.
The Callback List will be sent via email on April __ at 12:00pm (Noon). This is where we will have our Dance portion all together!
Those on the list must be prepared for Callbacks on May __ 9AM-3PM. More info will be sent to all.
Once tuition is recieved, instructions for the Audition portion will be sent to the email on the tuition receipt. BUT rest assure, we have some info on the audition process below!
We wanted the audition process to mirror that of the professional audition experience. Therefore, we begin the audition process with the ONLINE Audition Self Tapes. Self Tape Tips and more will be sent in the email. Self Tapes are DUE April 11th at 11:59pm, therefore paying for tuition prior to this date is strongly advised.
Self Tapes include:
32-bar cut of a musical theater selection of your choice
One comedic OR dramatic monologue no longer than 2 minutes
Submitted Audition Form (Found in confirmation email)
***Uploaded as a video unlisted on Youtube, or protected via Vimeo/Dropbox***
Tuition per child is $225.
Tuition includes: Callback Day, 2 weeks of rehearsals, Tech Days, Performances, 2 performance tickets, and costume rental. As a nonprofit, your tuition is tax deductible. Tuition is DUE BEFORE auditions can be accepted. Email isaiah@bingotobrilliance.com for assistance.
TUITION IS DUE APRIL 11th 2025 11:59PM
"Keep the Costume!" Add-on is $75.
As you know, costumes are an expensive and personalized part of the theatrical process. AND we hate taking the costumes back from students at the end of the productions. With this add-on, you will be able to take the costume home with you after the show! Costumes are new and unused.
This CAN'T be added after the Callback List is released, so take advantage of this perfect keepsake today!
